  • Traditional Whole Life plan guaranteed paid-up at age 90.
  • Covenant II is banded at $25,000, $50,000, $100,000, $250,000 and $500,000.
  • High cash value guarantees.
  • The annual increase in surrender values (non-guaranteed dividends plus cash values) may exceed the annual premium as early as year 4.
  • The combination of a Covenant II policy, an Annual Paid-Up Additions rider, and the Maximum Accumulation Dividend Option can produce a policy with an unmatched combination of values and guarantees. This is done while maintaining the tax advantages of life insurance.   • The overall product minimum face amount is $100,000.
  • Premiums vary by sex, underwriting class, and age, and are payable to attained age 100.
  • Beneficiary Settlement Options: Life-Life and Period Certain Joint Life-Joint Life Certain Period Interest Only-Period Certain.
  • Special Uses: Can be used to leverage a policyowner's gift-tax annual exclusion and "unified credit exemption" amount to leave a legacy to heirs or provide a gift to an alma mater or a charitable institution.
  • Loan and Interest Rate: The loan interest rate is variable. The maximum rate is the greater of the cash value rate plus 1% or the Moody Corporate Bond Yield Average-Monthly Average Corporates.

Vanguard Silver - UL

  • Three Death Benefit Options: Option A, where the death benefit is the face amount of the policy plus the policy account value; option B, where the death benefit is the face amount of the policy; and option C, where the death benefit is the face amount plus paid premiums (minus withdrawals).

  • Guaranteed interest rate of 3%.

  • No Lapse Provision: There is a guaranteed death benefit for the length of the no-lapse period, provided the minimum monthly premium is paid by the monthly anniversary day.

  • Partial Surrenders: After the first policy anniversary, a portion of the cash surrender value may be surrendered with the following limitations: 1) The remaining policy account value must be at least $1,000; 2) The amount of the partial surrender must be at least $500; 3) A maximum of four; and 4) partial surrenders can be taken in any policy year.

  • Minimum Premium Limits: $25.

  • Maximum Premium Limits: If the insured has chosen the Guideline Premium Test, we will limit the amount of premium paid on a policy to the guideline limit so that it qualifies as life insurance. We will return to the owner amounts received in excess of this amount.
